The Ice-O-Matic MFI0800A90 is a 21-inch modular MFI Series flake ice machine head that makes up to 790 pounds of flake ice a day at 70°F air and 50°F water (585 lbs at 90°F air and 70°F water). It gives the most flake ice you can get from a 115-volt MFI model, close to 800 pounds a day, for grocery and fish displays, produce cases, hospitals and busy bars without a 208-230-volt circuit.

Flake ice is soft, moldable and gentle on product. It packs tightly around fish, meat and produce on display, keeping them cold and looking fresh, and it is easy to scoop for healthcare, therapy and food-processing uses.

This A90 model uses R290 refrigerant. A load-monitoring system checks the gearbox workload and shuts the machine down before a problem develops. A water sensor protects against low or no water. The evaporator and auger are stainless steel, the industrial-grade double roller bearings need no maintenance, and the gearbox is heavy duty. A built-in non-contact ice detection system shuts the machine off when the bin is full.

Ice bin sold separately: this is an ice machine head only, with no storage. A 30-inch B55 (510 lb) bin with the KBT19 bin top, or a 30-inch B700-30 (680 lb) bin with no kit, are common pairings at this output. Installation: 115V/60/1, 13.6 A minimum circuit ampacity, 20 A maximum breaker. 3/8" FPT potable water inlet and 3/4" FPT drain. Operates in 50-100°F air with 40-100°F water at 20-80 psi. The machine is air-cooled, so it needs no condenser water; keep the front and rear air paths clear. Ice-O-Matic recommends the IFQ1-FS water filter system with IOMQ-FS replacement cartridges (sold separately).

Warranty: Ice-O-Matic warrants the ice maker for 3 years parts and labor and the compressor for 5 years parts.
