The Koolaire KYF0150A is a 26-inch undercounter cube ice machine with a built-in storage bin, made by Manitowoc. It makes up to 169 pounds of ice in 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water (about 114 pounds at 90°F air / 70°F water) and holds up to 92 pounds in its bin. The KF0150 is Koolaire's smaller undercounter model: a self-contained ice maker and bin only 26 inches wide and 38.5 inches high on its 6-inch legs, sized for bars, coffee shops, offices and small restaurants. Air goes in on the left of the front grille and out on the right, with no side vents, so it can sit under a counter or right next to other equipment.

It makes Koolaire's Half Kube, a 3/8" x 1-1/8" x 7/8" half-dice cube. The thinner cube packs tightly in cups, cools drinks fast and is the usual pick for fountain beverages, blended drinks and dispensers.

It runs on 115/60/1 power, 7.2 total amps on a 15 amp maximum fuse (HACR-type breakers can be used), and is factory-wired with a 6-foot cord. Koolaire rates it at 9.1 kWh and 32 gallons of potable water per 100 lbs of ice at 90°F air / 70°F water. Koolaire recommends 5 inches of clearance at the top, sides and back, though no minimum clearance is required.

Water filter: filtered water keeps scale off the evaporator and makes clearer, better-tasting ice. The matching filter for this model is the 3M CUNO ICE120-S ice machine water filter system, with the HF20-S replacement cartridge for change-outs. Both are sold separately.

Koolaire warranty: Koolaire's limited commercial warranty covers the ice maker for three (3) years parts and labor, the evaporator for five (5) years parts and labor, and the compressor for five (5) years parts and three (3) years labor.
