Low-Profile 30" Ice Bin:
The D400 gives a 30-inch Manitowoc cube machine a low, 38-inch-tall base that holds up to 365 lbs of ice. Keeping the stack short makes the head easier to service and leaves room under low ceilings, and the 30-inch footprint lines up with the most common Indigo NXT sizes.
Compatible ice machines (per Manitowoc's application chart):
- 30" Indigo NXT cube machines, 0300, 0450, 0500, 0600 and 0750 series (no adapter needed)
- 22" Indigo NXT 0420 and 0620 cubers with adapter K00472
- RNP0320, RNP0620, RFP0320 and RFP0620 with adapter K00472
- Not recommended: 0900 series and larger
Machines installed side by side must be water-cooled, remote or have a top air discharge. An ice machine wider than the bin cannot be used. Ice machine and adapter kits are sold separately.
Features:
- Angled, foamed-insulated door opens at 53 degrees for easier scooping from the bottom of the bin, reduces sweating and keeps ice longer
- Stay-up cammed door latch holds the door open while scooping
- Built-in side grips let you lift the door one-handed from the left, right or center
- Built-in scoop holder keeps the scoop handle above the ice line (optional external holder K00461 sold separately)
- DuraTech metal exterior: better corrosion resistance than stainless steel, smudge resistant and easy to clean
- Arctic Blue polyurethane bin liner
- 3/4" bin drain
- NSF approved sanitary ice scoop (about 5.3 lbs per scoop) and adjustable 6" to 7.75" chrome legs included
