Rear Extension Kit for Deeper Ice Machines on 30" Bins:

Hoshizaki's KMD, KMS and FD machines are deeper than a standard KM head, so they overhang the back of a regular bin. The HS-2129 adds an extension bracket along the rear of a 30-inch B-250SF or B-500SF bin to give the machine full support and a sealed seat.

A 30-inch KMD or KMS goes on with this kit alone. A 22-inch KMD-410M, KMS-822M or FD model also needs the 8-inch HS-2033 ABS top kit to close the side gap.

• B-250SF or B-500SF with a 30" KMD-355M, KMD-505M, KMD-705M, KMD-460M, KMD-530M, KMD-860M, KMS-1402M or KMS-2000M: HS-2129 alone
• B-250SF or B-500SF with a 22" KMD-410M, KMS-822M, FD-650M-C, FD-1002M-C or F-622/822/1022MAK-C: HS-2129 + HS-2033
• Not for KMS-1122MLJ

What's Included:

• 1 extension bracket for 30" wide bins (Hoshizaki part 3A4929G01)
• 5 self-tapping hex head screws (#12 x 3/4")
• 2 strips of foam tape (762 mm length)
• 2 mounting brackets
• 2 stainless steel hex head bolts (5 x 12 mm)

Installation Notes:

• The bracket fits over the rear of the bin and is fastened with the self-tapping screws through the bin's slots.
• Foam tape goes on top of the bracket and across the front of the bin top so the ice machine seals to the bin; Hoshizaki gives a trim measurement for KMD and KMS units.
• After the ice machine is set in place, lock it to the bin with the two mounting brackets and stainless bolts, then level the bin legs.
• Remove the ice machine's panels before lifting it into place to avoid damage.
• Air-cooled KMD-460MAJ and KMD-530MAJ also require Hoshizaki's HS-5065 front panel filter kit.
