Hoshizaki HS-2147, Top Kit for B-1150 & 1300 Ice Bin

Model Specifics: Top kit extension · For B-1150SS and B-1300SS bins · 30" KMD and KMS ice machines

Extension Kit for KMD and KMS Machines on B-1150SS / B-1300SS Bins:

Hoshizaki's large-capacity B-1150SS and B-1300SS bins ship with a universal top kit that handles standard KM heads. When the machine on top is one of the deeper 30-inch KMD or KMS models, Hoshizaki calls for the HS-2147 extension in addition to that universal kit.

Order it with the bin when you are pairing a KMD-355M through KMD-860M, or a KMS-1402M or KMS-2000M split system, with one of these 48-inch stainless bins.

Where It Fits:

• B-1150SS or B-1300SS with a 30" KMD-355M, KMD-505M, KMD-705M, KMD-460M, KMD-530M, KMD-860M, KMS-1402M or KMS-2000M (with the bin's included universal top kit)
• Not for KMS-1122MLJ

What's Included:

• HS-2147 top kit extension (Hoshizaki does not publish a separate parts list for this kit; contact us for details)

Installation Notes:

• Install the universal top kit supplied with the bin, then add the HS-2147 for the deeper KMD/KMS machine.
• Remove the ice machine's panels before lifting it into place to avoid damage.
• Air-cooled KMD-460MAJ and KMD-530MAJ also require Hoshizaki's HS-5065 front panel filter kit.
• Follow the bin and ice machine manuals for leveling and connections. Contact us with your model numbers if you're unsure about fit.

Fit is based on Hoshizaki's Top Kit Matrix (March 2026). Base model numbers are shown; send us your full model number if you want us to confirm fit.
