The 50CI414W-S is a Symphony Plus 50 series ice and water dispenser from Follett with a built-in Chewblet ice machine. It makes up to 380 lbs of soft nugget ice per 24 hours, holds 50 lbs ready to dispense, and sits on a counter.
On the 50CI414W-S, SensorSAFE infrared dispensing starts the ice or water when a cup is detected, so nobody touches a lever. Follett does not recommend SensorSAFE with clear containers or in direct sunlight, so place this countertop unit away from windows.
Water dispenses right beside the ice on the Symphony Plus 50 series, making the 50CI414W-S a complete hydration station.
Water cooling suits enclosed spaces or rooms that run hot: the 50CI414W-S condenser rejects heat into a water line instead of the room. Follett rates this Symphony Plus 50 series model at 380 lbs at 70/50 F and 330 lbs at 90/70 F.
With a 50 lb bin, the 50CI414W-S rides out lunch-hour and shift-change rushes better than the 25 lb version. Dispense clearance is 11.5 inches, enough for most pitchers.
