The Follett C1410A is the largest air-cooled Horizon Elite head, making up to 1,466 pounds of Chewblet ice a day in the same 29.15-inch width as the 1010 series. It is sized for stadiums, theaters, large hospitals and high-volume fountain operations that cannot afford to run out of nugget ice at peak times.

Like the rest of the Horizon Elite line, the C1410A can top-mount on a Follett bin or ice and beverage dispenser, or use RIDE technology to push ice through a tube up to 75 feet to the point of use. It needs a dedicated 20 amp, 208-230 volt circuit (NEMA 6-20 plug on a 6-foot cord).

Horizon Elite's horizontal evaporator and auger design quarantines and regularly flushes out dissolved solids, so the ice has only about 15% of the TDS of the incoming water. That dramatically reduces scale buildup, stretches the time between descaling, and uses about 35% less water than comparable cube machines. Key ice and water contact parts carry Agion silver-based antimicrobial protection, and the floatless, sealed design inhibits biofilm.
