The Horizon Elite D710A brings Follett's scale-inhibiting Chewblet technology to a 22-inch, 115 volt package. It makes up to 759 pounds of nugget ice a day, fits on 22-inch-wide dispensers and bins, and is ENERGY STAR certified, making it a practical upgrade for restaurants, c-stores and healthcare kitchens that want nugget ice without 208-230 volt wiring.

Mount it directly on a bin or beverage dispenser, or use RIDE remote ice delivery to install it in a cabinet, on a wall or on a stand up to 75 feet away. The D710A also works with Follett Vision, drop-in and Ice Manager systems; each application uses its own installation kit, ordered separately.

Horizon Elite's horizontal evaporator and auger design quarantines and regularly flushes out dissolved solids, so the ice has only about 15% of the TDS of the incoming water. That dramatically reduces scale buildup, stretches the time between descaling, and uses about 35% less water than comparable cube machines. Key ice and water contact parts carry Agion silver-based antimicrobial protection, and the floatless, sealed design inhibits biofilm.
