The Maestro Plus UMD414A80 packs Follett's auger-style ice maker and a 75 lb bin into a cabinet less than 24 inches wide. It makes up to 425 lbs of Micro Chewblet ice per 24 hours, the soft, compressed nugget that customers chew, that cools drinks fast and that displaces more liquid in the cup than cubes.
Take the legs off and the unit is 33 inches tall, low enough to slide under a standard counter on its Teflon glides; leave them on and it stands 39 inches as a freestanding machine. All utilities connect at the back and it breathes through the front, so no side, top or rear clearance is needed. That makes it a fit for coffee shops, bars and healthcare pantries with tight space.
