The slicer features a 10'' hard chromed, special alloy hollow ground knife that lasts longer and sharpens easier. The anodized aluminum construction is stain resistant, long lasting, and easy to clean. Valuable kitchen counter space is saved due to the slicer's compact design. NOTE: This slicer is not recommended for slicing cheese- Positive traction grooved belt drive
