The Kold-Draft GBX1064ACE is a 42-inch modular cube ice machine from the Kold-Draft X-Series. It makes up to 818 pounds of ice in 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water, and about 711 pounds at 90°F air and 70°F water. The GBX1060 series is the largest Kold-Draft X-Series head, built on the same 42-inch footprint as the GBX560 but 33.7 inches tall, for hotels, banquet kitchens, stadiums and other high-volume sites.

Kold-Draft's upside-down horizontal evaporator and water plate freeze a true 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" square cube. The cube is hard, dense, clear and slow to melt, so it holds up in cocktails, spirits and soft drinks and stays fresh in the bin.

This is the air-cooled version, so no condenser water line is needed. Kold-Draft calls for 4 inches of clearance on the left side, 8 inches on the right side and back, and 6 inches on top for ventilation and utility connections, with room temperatures from 45°F to 110°F. Peak heat rejection is 18,000 BTU/hr, so plan ventilation accordingly.

Power is 208-230/60/1 with a 8.2 amp minimum circuit and 15 amp maximum fuse. Note this model needs a 208-230 volt single-phase circuit.

Matching Kold-Draft bins: Kold-Draft pairs the GBX1060 series with the KDB650 (660 lb, 42" wide) and KDB950 (950 lb, 48" wide) ice storage bins (sold separately).

Water filter: Kold-Draft recommends water filtration on all of its ice machines. The matching filter for this model is the Kold-Draft TLC-107097F Nautilus twin-cartridge filter system (4.2 GPM, 54,000 gallons; takes two TLC-3200S replacement cartridges). Sold separately.

Accessories (sold separately): Stacking kit 102149501 (GBX560/GBX1060 on top of GBX560/GBX1060); DR3-GB 3" drain riser kit.

Kold-Draft warranty: 3 year parts & labor on the ice machine, plus 2 additional years (5 years total) on the compressor and ice cube evaporator, parts only. Labor must be performed by a Kold-Draft authorized service agency, and the machine must be installed and maintained to Kold-Draft's instructions.
