The Kold-Draft GTX561ACE is a 30-inch modular cube ice machine from the Kold-Draft X-Series. It makes up to 500 pounds of ice in 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water, and about 418 pounds at 90°F air and 70°F water. The GTX560 series puts roughly 500 pounds a day into a 30-inch-wide X-Series cabinet, a good fit for busy bars and restaurants where a 42-inch head will not fit.

Kold-Draft's upside-down horizontal evaporator and water plate freeze a true 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" square cube. The cube is hard, dense, clear and slow to melt, so it holds up in cocktails, spirits and soft drinks and stays fresh in the bin.

This is the air-cooled version, so no condenser water line is needed. Kold-Draft calls for 4 inches of clearance on the left side, 8 inches on the right side and back, and 6 inches on top for ventilation and utility connections, with room temperatures from 45°F to 110°F. Peak heat rejection is 8,750 BTU/hr, so plan ventilation accordingly.

Power is 115/60/1 with a 15.9 amp minimum circuit and 20 amp maximum fuse. It runs on standard 115-volt power.

Matching Kold-Draft bins: Kold-Draft pairs the GTX560 series with the KDB230 (230 lb, 30.25" wide) and KDB400 (400 lb, 30.25" wide) ice storage bins (sold separately). For the 30" KDB230 and KDB400 bins, Kold-Draft also offers an optional 4" leg kit (part 102146001, set of 4); the bins ship with 6" legs.

Water filter: Kold-Draft recommends water filtration on all of its ice machines. The matching filter for this model is the Kold-Draft TLC-107096F Nautilus single-cartridge filter system (2.1 GPM, 27,000 gallons; replacement cartridge TLC-3200S). Sold separately.

Kold-Draft warranty: 3 year parts & labor on the ice machine, plus 2 additional years (5 years total) on the compressor and ice cube evaporator, parts only. Labor must be performed by a Kold-Draft authorized service agency, and the machine must be installed and maintained to Kold-Draft's instructions.
