Manitowoc CNP0201A-161, 285 Lb Air Cooled Countertop Nugget Ice Machine & Dispenser, 10 Lb Storage

The CNP0201A-161 puts touchless nugget ice and water on a countertop that is only 16.25 inches wide and 35 inches tall. An infrared sensor starts dispensing when a cup is placed under the chute, so staff and guests never touch a lever. That makes it a natural choice for hospitals, clinics, senior living and other places where hygiene comes first. It makes up to 285 pounds of nugget ice a day and keeps 10 pounds in the bin.

How it works: Touchless infrared dispensing: place a cup under the chute and the unit dispenses, with no lever or button to touch. A selector switch on the front lets you choose ice, water or an ice-and-water combination, and also starts and stops the unit and its cleaning cycle without removing a panel. A blue LED lights the dispense area, and a large drain pan under the grate catches spills.

Installation and fit: The unit is self-contained and air-cooled. It plugs into a standard 115V outlet with its 6 ft cord and NEMA 5-15P plug, and needs a 3/8" FPT potable water line (20-80 psi) and a 1/2" FPT gravity drain. The drain comes plumbed out the back and can be moved to the bottom for a flush install. Install indoors in 45-110°F rooms. Leave 24" above, 8" on each side and 5" behind for airflow, which enters on the right and exits the top. The height is 35" without legs. Optional 4" legs (K-00345) and the K00453 stand are sold separately, as is the K00514 solid front panel.
