Manitowoc CNP0201A-161L, 285 Lb Air Cooled Countertop Nugget Ice Machine & Dispenser, 10 Lb Storage

The CNP0201A-161L is the compact, lever-operated member of Manitowoc's R290 countertop nugget family. It makes up to 285 pounds of soft, chewable nugget ice a day, keeps 10 pounds ready in its built-in bin, and stands just 35 inches tall, so it fits under most wall cabinets in break rooms, patient-nutrition areas, offices and self-serve beverage stations.

How it works: Push-lever dispensing: press the cup against the lever to dispense. Manitowoc kit K-00377 converts this unit to touchless sensing later if needed. A selector switch on the front lets you choose ice, water or an ice-and-water combination, and also starts and stops the unit and its cleaning cycle without removing a panel. A blue LED lights the dispense area, and a large drain pan under the grate catches spills.

Installation and fit: The unit is self-contained and air-cooled. It plugs into a standard 115V outlet with its 6 ft cord and NEMA 5-15P plug, and needs a 3/8" FPT potable water line (20-80 psi) and a 1/2" FPT gravity drain. The drain comes plumbed out the back and can be moved to the bottom for a flush install. Install indoors in 45-110°F rooms. Leave 24" above, 8" on each side and 5" behind for airflow, which enters on the right and exits the top. The height is 35" without legs. Optional 4" legs (K-00345) and the K00453 stand are sold separately, as is the K00514 solid front panel.
