The CU50PAX-1 is a 15-inch undercounter that makes up to 65 pounds a day of Scotsman's gourmet ice, a large, clear, top-hat cube, and stores 26 pounds behind a solid stainless door. It is popular in upscale bars, restaurants, offices and homes where ice presentation matters.

It is air-cooled and front-breathing, so it can be built in under a counter with no side clearance; keep the front grille clear and the room between 50°F and 100°F.

Gourmet cubes measure about 1" x 1-1/8" x 1-1/4": big, clear and slow to melt, so drinks stay cold and look premium.

The CU50PAX-1 adds a built-in drain pump with a 10-foot drain tube, so it can go where there is no floor drain nearby (the CU50GAX-1 is the gravity-drain version).

It plugs into a standard 115 volt outlet on a 15 amp circuit.

Production is rated at 70°F air and 50°F water. At 90°F air and 70°F water it is rated for about 49 pounds a day and uses 11.0 kWh and 29.8 gallons of drinking water per 100 pounds of ice.
