The Scotsman NH0422AX-1 is the smallest Prodigy Plus nugget head, a good fit for cafés, convenience stores, clinics and offices. It makes up to 375 pounds of H2 Nugget ice a day at 70°F air and 50°F water (285 lbs at 90°F air and 70°F water) and runs on 115V/60/1.

This NH model makes Scotsman H2 Nugget ice, the harder of the two Prodigy Plus nugget types (hardness rating 87%, about 3/4" x 5/16" x 3/8"). It melts more slowly, which makes it a good choice for ice and beverage dispensers. Choose the matching NS model if you want the softer Original Chewable Nugget.

This is the air-cooled version. It breathes from the front, so it needs no side clearance, and the external air filter is reusable and easy to remove for cleaning.

Prodigy Plus features include sealed, maintenance-free bearings, a stainless steel evaporator and auger, AutoAlert indicator lights that signal when it is time to descale or sanitize, a unit-specific QR code that links to manuals and warranty history, and AgION antimicrobial protection on internal surfaces. Scotsman says its nugget machines use up to 40% less water and 15% less energy than cube ice machines. Optional Vari-Smart ice level control (KVS) and Smart-Board (KSBU) modules are available.

Ice bin sold separately: this is an ice machine head only, with no storage. Scotsman lists B322S, B530P or B530S bins, or ID150, ID200 and ID250 ice dispensers for this model; contact Scotsman for bin top requirements. Scotsman recommends water filtration on all ice machines.

Installation: 115V/60/1, 11.1 A minimum circuit ampacity, 20 A maximum fuse or HACR breaker. Operates in 50-100°F air with 40-100°F water at 20-80 psi. 3/8" flare potable water inlet and 3/4" FPT drain.

Warranty: Scotsman covers all components for 3 years parts and labor and the compressor for 5 years parts (commercial installations in North, South and Central America).
