The Star 872TCHSA is a 72-inch Ultra-Max countertop gas griddle with a 1-inch thick chrome-finished T1 steel plate and 6 30,000 BTU burners, one for each 12 inches of width. Mechanical snap-action thermostats sense the plate temperature in each 12-inch zone and hold it anywhere from 150°F to 550°F. The chrome surface radiates less heat into the kitchen and releases food easily, which also speeds cleanup.
