The True TCIM-422-FA1-A is a 22-inch modular cube ice machine from the True Ice Series. It makes up to 440 pounds of full cube ice in 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water, and about 320 pounds at 90°F air and 70°F water. At 22 inches wide and just 22 inches tall, it is the most compact head in the True Ice Series, a good match for cafes, small bars, offices and break rooms.

Full cubes (7/8" x 7/8" x 7/8") melt slowly and look clean in the glass, the classic choice for cocktails, soft drinks and bagged ice.

It is air-cooled, so no condenser water line is needed. Leave 6 inches of clearance on the left, right and back for air intake and exhaust. True rates it for room temperatures from 35°F to 110°F, and the quiet fan makes it suitable for front-of-house installs.

It runs on standard 115-volt single-phase power with a 15 amp minimum circuit ampacity, so most locations need no special wiring.

Matching True bins: the 22" TIB-322-A (250 lb) and TIB-422-A (360 lb) bins fit this head directly; a 30" TIB-430-A or TIB-530-A bin needs True's 8" bin top adapter (part #228242); on the 48" TIB-948-A, one head mounts with the 8" and 18" adapters (#228242 and #228244), or two 22" heads mount side by side with the 4" adapter (#228243). Adapters sold separately.

True warranty: three-year parts & labor warranty on the ice machine, plus an additional two-year evaporator plate part & labor warranty and an additional two-year compressor part warranty (5 years total on each). True recommends a water filtration system, with the filter changed every six months; failures caused by lack of water filtration are not covered. Commercial ice machines installed in a residential setting receive a limited one-year parts and labor warranty.
