The True TCIM-430-LA1-A is a 30-inch modular cube ice machine from the True Ice Series. It makes up to 430 pounds of large cube ice in 24 hours at 70°F air and 50°F water, and about 310 pounds at 90°F air and 70°F water. This is the entry-level 30-inch True head: a 30 x 24 x 22-inch cabinet that fits the most common bin width and suits small restaurants and bars.

Large cubes (1-1/8" x 1-1/8" x 7/8") have the most mass of the three True cube sizes, so they melt slowest; they are a good pick for spirits, premium cocktails and ice that needs to last.

It is air-cooled, so no condenser water line is needed. Leave 6 inches of clearance on the left, right and back for air intake and exhaust. True rates it for room temperatures from 35°F to 110°F, and the quiet fan makes it suitable for front-of-house installs.

It runs on standard 115-volt single-phase power with a 15 amp minimum circuit ampacity, so most locations need no special wiring.

Matching True bins: the 30" TIB-430-A (365 lb) and TIB-530-A (515 lb) bins fit this head directly; on the 48" TIB-948-A bin it mounts with True's 18" bin top adapter (part #228244, sold separately). 22" bins are too narrow for this head.

True warranty: three-year parts & labor warranty on the ice machine, plus an additional two-year evaporator plate part & labor warranty and an additional two-year compressor part warranty (5 years total on each). True recommends a water filtration system, with the filter changed every six months; failures caused by lack of water filtration are not covered. Commercial ice machines installed in a residential setting receive a limited one-year parts and labor warranty.
